The wooden blind was born in the Mediterranean countries, such as France, Spain, and Italy where it is necessary to avoid the entrance of solar energy into the rooms to keep them fresh. It is a very aesthetic element that embellished the façade, and also has multiple functions, such as protection against sun, wind and rain, curious glances, and also difficults malicious robbery intentions.

Today’s technology offers the possibility of adjusting the lamellas. By directing their inclination the entrance of light will be reduced until achieving darkness of the room.
